Experimental Outfit
Things have been dull around here, too dull that I actually went all the way to the mall and checked only one store and I had to leave. Yes, finals are coming up, AKA depression season! Which should be grateful season cause all that depression is coming from caring about some thing that possibly is going to shape our future, but we can’t just be thankful for a life that we actually give a shit about, can we?
Looking at the windows with this season’s colors and prints, realizing the fantasy and the illusion of self-worth such material things give you, I decided I need an experiment, actually a job, something that teaches you humility ( Yes I’m all for that spiritual kinda crap! ) but of course that wasn’t an option during depression season. And while I’d love to start scrubbing toilets in my high heels, I’m going with something a bit less dramatic. I’m wearing the same outfit for the whole week, can’t promise it would smell the same though given that it’s summer time in sunny Egypt but I’ll do my best.
They say wearing the same outfit two days in a row takes away from your *Ego*, which is always good because if you looked around, if you even looked at you, you realize we’re struggling with on daily basis. The little things, the big things. The problem is you’re letting such “things” make you, define you. But what if they took all those things away?Left you with nothing but you? Would you still like you?Would they still like you? Would it make you a better person? Would it make you a worse person? Does it even matter?

No, I didn’t make the whole week. Mom kept saying I stink after three days, so..
MET GALA 2012
I love this! You know why? Cause it reminds me of myself. I roll out of bed every morning looking like this. You know, in my head.. I’m not even kidding, you can ask my imaginary boyfriend!

Who let the boobs out? WHO WHO WHO?!

Love the Marchesa! And Leighton of course, but I don’t like whoever pushed the poor girl in a puddle of fake tan!

The night where grown up girls looked like barbies.. I like her enough to let it slide!

Then things got a little fishy.. I mean, look at the fins on this thing!

I know a PMSing woman when I see one, but this was definitely far and beyond, so.. menopause??

Zac Posen just loves making women look like they’re pooping fabrics!

Well, she’s been through a lot. Pregnancy, having a baby, cut the woman some slack! Yes, she was looking at Jay-Z running after her with the rest of that dress..

Oh Chuck Bass, who are you doing here? I mean, what? I mean, excuse me, this was going to my private collection..

and the floral pants..
So far I haven’t showed these pants to anyone and liked it, but I still love them enough to give you one more imaginary outfit!

Joe Zee says the difference between slutty and sexy is a few more inches. I say this is border line. Actually a no-no. I don’t want a 16 year old wearing it on prom night, I don’t want a 40 year old wearing it on a TV show, or even a 20 year old at a party! I want them to know what’s sexy and what’s over doing it, what’s trying too hard.

Should I repeat myself? Just ask her to sit and cross her legs and you’ll know what I’m talking about!

This one I like from the waist down, it has a bit of Marchesa in it which I love!

While some of the pieces looked young and fun, or at least tried to be, the models.. well, I’m thinking mid life crisis maybe? Models sell clothe, but I don’t know if the designers were trying to put themselves out of business..
